10 Lukas Podolski
Podolski started playing football with the youth side at FC Bergheim in 1991 at the age of six before joining the youth team at Bundesliga side Koln.
He moved up to the Koln first team in 2003, then spent three seasons with Bayern Munich from 2006 before returning to Koln in 2009.
Podolski began his international career with Germany in 2004 after making five appearances for the Under-21 side in the same year.
He participated in the 2006 World Cup, where he partnered Miroslav Klose in attack.
His powerful left-foot has seen him net 37 goals for his country already - joint-eighth on the all-time list for Germany.
