2 Bakari Sagna
Bacary Sagna is a French International of Senegalese decent. Before joining Arsenal in July 2007 he played 87 matches for Auxerre, winning the French Cup in 2005.
Sagna scored his first goal for the Gunners against Chelsea in March 2008, but an injury in that match saw him miss out on his chance to shine at Euro 2008.
Another injury picked up on international duty kept Sagna out for most of October, but he has since made the right back spot his own at the Emirates. He made his debut for France on 22 August 2007 against Slovakia, and his competitive debut against the Faroe Islands in October 2007.
In June 2008 he signed a deal taking him up to 2014 with the north London club.
