Cobreloa is where Alexis Sanchez appeared in his youth and he started playing professionally there in 2005. Colo-Colo signed him in 2006 and in 2007 he moved to River Plate.
He signed with Udinese in 2008. Sanchez has played for the Chile national side since 2006, where he has scored 10 goals in 27 appearances.
