17 Gary Medel
Medel played in his youth for Universidad Catolica and started playing there professionally in 2005. In 80 appearances he scored 12 goals there. In 2009 he was loaned to Boca Juniors.
He has appeared for the Chile national team since 2007. He played at the U20 World Cup, helping his side claim third place in Canada.
His debut with the first side was a goalless draw against Argentina. He scored two goals in his first World Cup qualifier against Bolivia to give his country an important 2-0 victory, the first goal being an impressive overhead kick.
