14 Matías Fernández
After playing in his youth for Union La Calera and Colo-Colo, Matias Fernandez began his professional career with the latter in 2004 before linking up with Villarreal in 2007. He spent two years there making 71 appearances and then joined Sporting CP in 2009.
He has appeared for the Chile national team since 2005, as well as captaining the side at the 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship where he scored a goal in their 7-0 win over Honduras. He has since established himself as an integral member of the first side.
