11 Robinho
Robinho made his debut for Brazilian side Santos in 2002 aged just 17-years-old, and scored nine goals in his opening season. Real Madrid came in for the skilful forward in July 2005, and secured his signature for a fee of EUR24 million. He made his Madrid debut in August 2005 against Cadiz and managed 14 goals in his first season in La Liga.
The Brazilian made a surprise move to Manchester City for a fee of GBP32.5million on the final day of the Premier League transfer window (September 1st 2008), breaking the British transfer record.
On 28 January 2010, Robinho returned to his home club Santos in a 6-month loan deal. He had publicly stated that at Manchester City he would play every other game, and because this was a World Cup Year, he wanted to play every game, and so returned to Brazil with Santos after declining a move to São Paulo. On his return to Santos, Robinho scored a backheel against aforementioned admirers São Paulo with 5 minutes to spare to complete a 2-1 victory for the Peixe.
Robinho made his debut for Brazil on July 13th 2003 against Mexico, but ended on the losing side.
