18 Martín Palermo
In 1992 Martin Palermo began his career at Estudiantes. In 1997 he moved to Boca Juniors where he enjoyed a sterling goalscoring record of 81 goals in 102 appearances.
Three years later he moved to Villareal, then Real Betis and Alaves, and in 2004 he return to Boca Juniors.
He has represented Argentina since 1999, making just 14 appearances, but has scored eight goals for his country.
