Thanduyise Khuboni
A newcomer on the Bafana scene, the defensive midfielder made his debut against Zimbabwe in January and had a string of Man of the Match performances in his first few games.
Having come through the ranks at Golden Arrows, he made his debut for Abafana Bes'thende against Platinum Stars in August 2006 and missed just two of their 28 matches this season, both through injury.
He also played a starring role in the 6-0 MTN8 Cup final defeat of Ajax Cape Town in October last year and has become a firm favourite under Carlos Alberto Parreira in the Bafana set-up.
