The real reason Benni was dropped

Reports are doing the rounds that Benni McCarthy was left out of the final Bafana Bafana squad because he entertained women in his Sandton hotel after the international friendly against Colombia.

Sunday newspapers claim that sources in the camp revealed that McCarthy, as well as goalkeeper Rowen Fernandez, were caught with 'some company' at 4am.

The duo were caught on CCTV - tapes of which were shown to a furious Bafana coach Carlos Alberto Parreira, who immediately cut them from the team.

The paper goesw on to claim that several sources, including a top soccer official and a hotel staff member, confirmed the events.

Fernandez has since denied the report, while McCarthy could not be reached for comment.

I have said this before to my friends and I will say it gain journalists are doing what ever taw to sell their paper even if it means fiddling with people's lives.If the above story is what made Benni and Fernandez to be dropped from the squad then can they explain to what happen to the other three players Innocent Mdledle,Franklin Cale and Bryce Moon?

Mphela is pacy, mobile, fit the 4-2-3-1 system that Parreira is using. Mphela compliment the likes of Schillo, Shabba, Yeye, and 'The General', very well. Here, I am talikng about the four most creative players in the BB set-up, who will need a very mobile strike...and guess what...Benni does not come closer to being pacey....he is just B I G and slow! that was a blessing in disguise. it makes the job for the coach very easy, maybe that was planned. how come some of these guys were initially believe to be the ones to be eliminated from the squad. this was staged and it worked.
