The agent of forgotten star Sibusiso Vilakazi has finally broken his silence on the veteran campaigner's future at Sekhukhune.

Vilakazi has not made much impact at Sekhukhune since joining from TS Galaxy FC in March 2023.

The gifted 34-year-old left the Gauteng-based Mpumalanga club under a dark cloud, with Sead Ramovic claiming he lacked commitment.

He left Galaxy having made only 10 appearances.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns man is now facing an uncertain future at Babina Noko as he continues to struggle for game-time.

During the current campaign, Vilakazi has only made 13 appearances in all competitions for the Lehlohonolo Seema-led outfit.

His contract with the club ends in June 2024, and even his representative Mike Makaab seems not too sure about what the future holds at Sekhukhune for his client.

"It's highly unlikely he will be there at Sekhukhune United next season. They have an option, and at this stage, we are not sure," Makaab tells KickOff.

Collins Makgaka, Pogiso Mahlangu, Kgomotso Mosadi, Edmar Ronaldo Kamatuka and Linda Mntambo are some of the central attacking midfielders at Babina Noko.

The side is enjoying another good season in the DStv Premiership, currently sitting in fourth place on the DStv Premiership standings.

They have managed to collect 42 points in the 28 matches they have played so far.
